Kan elk moment van de dag genuttigd. Cava is één van de weinige dranken die er zelfs goed in gaan bij een mooi ontbijtbuffet.  Daarnaast uiteraard ook bij sushi in de middag of avond. Fijn bij Ceviche maar ook fijn bij een Paëlla . Ideaal bij desserts met rood fruit.

Over de wijn

Afkomstig uit het continentale klimaatgebied van Segrià, vormt Pinot Noir het grootste deel van deze cava, waardoor het frisheid en verouderingspotentieel heeft. De lokale druif Trepat uit Conca de Barberà, dat ook een landklimaat heeft, maakt de blend compleet. Een geweldige Gran Reserva, met minimaal 30 maanden rijping op zijn gistcellen. Hij is complex, expressief en met een gegarandeerde levensduur. Deze uitzonderlijke goede cava heeft een intense gouden kleur en een fijn delicaat goed geïntegreerde koolzuur met een langdurige mousse.  Aroma's van witte bloemen en ook rood fruit, de meest authentieke nuances van de Pinot Noir-druif spelen in uw neus. De geuren zijn ook weer merkbaar in de mond, waar ze body en opmerkelijke frisheid tonen. Hij is romig, delicaat en lang.

This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.
