Its classic Sitka spruce top and layered sapele back and sides offer a rich and balanced tone, characterized by robust resonance and bright articulation.

The 114ce-S boasts a meticulously crafted neck of hard rock maple, married to a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. This not only assures smooth and easy playability, but also contributes to a steady tonal output and a visually appealing aesthetic. Along the 25.5" scale length, a 20-fret fingerboard graced by Italian acrylic inlays guides your journey across the neck.

Under the hood, the 114ce-S houses Taylor's reputable Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics. This system serves to amplify the natural acoustic properties of the guitar, with intuitive controls for adjusting volume, treble, and bass.

Additional features include die-cast chrome tuning machines, a 1.6875" Tusq nut, and a bridge of West African Crelicam ebony.
